What is Construction Webcam?

Construction Webcam is the construction site camera from Open Experience. It takes high-resolution photos at an interval set on the camera itself and uploads them through its built-in SIM card, so it needs no Wi-Fi or LAN on site. Every 20 minutes the OX system imports the new images into Construction Photos. You can open them there on smartphone, tablet and computer, and the "Webcam" filter shows them separately from the other photos.

The progress nobody has to photograph.

Every day, in every weather: the image series shows construction progress without gaps, for client reports, evidence of disruptions and construction-time documentation. The date filter in Construction Photos takes you to the state of the site on a given day, and you can download a selection as a ZIP file.

The latest image answers the question "How is it looking?" without a trip to the site, from the office or on the go. New captures appear in the project about 20 minutes after upload.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a live image or a time-lapse?

No. Construction Webcam delivers single images at the set interval and no video. The system does not create a time-lapse. You can download the images from any period as a ZIP file in Construction Photos.

What about data protection?

Construction Photos can automatically pixelate people on every image in a project, including the webcam images. The function is switched on per project. On top of that come clear signage on the site and GDPR-compliant storage in Germany.

How does the camera get onto the construction site?

In three steps: mount the camera (with instructions or online guidance), connect it to a power source, and we assign it to your project. Mobile connectivity is built in (SIM/4G); no on-site network is needed.
