The OX ecosystem
The construction site that documents itself.
Software can only document what someone captures — that is why we also build the hardware. Helmet camera, webcam, drone, and weather sensors record your construction site automatically; the platform turns it into evidence-grade documentation.
What does "self-documenting construction site" mean?
A self-documenting construction site captures its condition continuously and automatically: the DIGIBAU 360 helmet camera records every site walk in full 360°, the Construction Webcam captures progress around the clock, the Construction Drone delivers the bird's-eye view, and Construction Weather provides the weather data. All captures flow automatically into the Open Experience platform — located, timestamped, searchable. The site manager no longer documents; they supervise.
Four data sources, one project
Each device captures what it does best — assignment to the project happens automatically.
DIGIBAU 360
The helmet attachment captures 360° images on every site walk — complete image documentation over time, without stopping.

Connected to the construction site around the clock: live image and a progress archive as a time-lapse.

The bird's-eye view for large sites, roofs, and inaccessible areas — including 3D model and quantity takeoff.

Weather data per construction site — automatically in the site diary, decisive for disruptions and claims.

Every capture lands automatically in the right project, at the right location, with the right timestamp — alongside your defects, reports, and checklists. With software-only vendors, you piece together camera, third-party subscription, and integration yourself; with us, it is one system.
- One responsibilityHardware, software, support — one contact partner, no interface debates.
- Automation instead of disciplineDocumentation happens even when nobody on site thinks about taking photos.
- Depth of evidenceA complete 360° history over time — walk virtually through the construction site as it was two years ago.
Software and our own construction site hardware — at OX from a single source, matched down to the last detail.
And the next step is already underway
OXI is our wheeled-leg robot: it carries the OX sensor suite across the construction site — 40 cm obstacles, 30% inclines, two-hour quick-swap battery, safe remote operation. This makes capture reproducible, even where nobody goes every day.
- Construction DogThe walking robot carries DIGIBAU 360 and walks the construction site on its own — stairs included.
- KRITIS3D research project"Thinking safety digitally": 3D surveying, robot-based capture, and AI object recognition outdoors.
Why this is more than a gadget
- DIGIBAU 360 — world premiere 2021, market launch 2022, born from the digiBau research project
- From single-family homes to major projects with 100,000+ defects
- Software + hardware from a single source — matched down to the last detail
- Every site walk complete instead of spot checks — the 360° walkthrough can be recalled for any point in time
Frequently asked questions
Do I need the hardware to use the software?
No — every software product works on its own. The hardware makes documentation automatic and complete; it is not a must.
Do I buy or rent the devices?
Both are possible; we clarify the terms in the demo meeting based on your project duration.
Does the hardware also work with other software?
The devices are built for the OX platform — that is where their added value comes from: automatic locating, timestamps, project assignment.
What happens to people in the captures?
DIGISCHUTZ automatically detects and pixelates people and faces — directly in the system, GDPR-compliant.
Who sets up the devices?
We accompany the rollout personally: commissioning, the first site walk, and training your team are all part of it.
