How much does Open Experience cost?
Open Experience costs €58 per user per month in the Standard package (Construction Defects, the defect-management app, and Construction Photos, the photo-documentation app) and €99 per user per month in the Premium package (adding Construction Checklists, Construction Diary and warranty tracking) — list price at ten licenses and a twelve-month term, net plus VAT. The price goes down with a longer term and up with fewer licenses; on top there is a one-time setup fee that scales with the number of users. If you want to test first, take the trial for a one-time €395. Subcontractor access is free in all packages and does not count as a user.

Hardware — usually rented, because construction sites end
Construction-site hardware is priced independently of the software license. The reference values give the order of magnitude; the exact terms depend on deployment time, quantity and connectivity.

We do not want to profit from you documenting your construction site completely. That is why we have no meters that punish exactly that.

Frequently asked questions about the pricing logic
Do I pay per user or per project?
By default per user per month, combined with the chosen package. Subcontractor access does not count as a user — it is free. If you prefer to bill per project, that works too: project billing is based on construction volume and quoted individually.
Why does the price go down with the term and the number of users?
Because both reduce our effort. A monthly-cancellable contract costs about a quarter more than the twelve-month contract; a term of 72 months about 15% less. Likewise, the price per user goes down the more licenses you take — up to ten licenses you can see the scale in the calculator; above that, we will prepare a quote.
What is included in the one-time setup fee?
The setup of your environment by us: project structure, users and roles, templates for reports and defect notices, and the personal training of your team. It scales with the number of users — at five licenses it is 60% of the list value, at ten licenses the full amount.
What does subcontractor access cost?
Nothing. In all packages, subcontractor access is free — for defect processing, completion reports with proof photo and daily reports. It does not count as a license and does not change your price.
What is not included in the packages?
Construction-site hardware is priced separately. Also not included in the package prices are add-on options such as single sign-on, API access, the Microsoft Teams interface, 3D and BIM features, custom letter templates and on-site training — we calculate these options in the quote.
Is Construction Time already available?
Construction Time is part of the Premium package but still in development. You pay no surcharge for it: as soon as the module is available, Premium customers get it without a contract change.
Is there a free trial version?
No — instead there is the trial for a one-time €395: four weeks on your real project, set up by us, with training. That shows more than two weeks of clicking around on your own, and we credit the amount if you continue. If you just want to look, take the 45-minute demo — free and with no sales pressure.
What does the hardware cost?
The 360° helmet camera DIGIBAU 360 is available from €210 per month to rent or to buy, the Construction Webcam from €125 per month with a minimum deployment of six months, the Construction Weather station from €103 per month. Construction Drone, Construction Dog and oxi are priced per project. Reference values and details are in the hardware table on this page.
Are there limits on plans, photos or records?
No. No fees per plan or model, no limits on photos or records.
Are there terms for joint ventures, framework agreements or universities?
Yes — special terms apply to joint ventures, group-wide framework agreements and educational institutions. Talk to us.
How and when is billing done?
The setup fee is billed at the start of the contract, the licenses on an ongoing basis over the agreed contract term.
