Product overview
One platform. Ten tools. Zero double entry.
Every OX product solves a concrete problem of the construction phase — and they all work together in the same project: a defect knows its photo, a daily report knows its weather, a site walk knows its location.
What is part of the platform for the construction phase?
The Open Experience platform consists of five software modules — Construction Defects, Construction Photos, Construction Diary, Construction Checklists and Construction Time — plus five hardware building blocks: DIGIBAU 360 (360° helmet camera), Construction Webcam, Construction Drone, Construction Weather and Construction Dog. All modules work in the same project, with the same location reference and the same timestamp. Each product can be used on its own; the full value comes from the interplay.
The digital toolbox
Five software modules for daily work in construction execution — mobile, offline-capable, in the browser and in the app.
Construction Defects
Record defects in seconds, the system tracks the deadlines — including acceptance and warranty.
Go to product pageConstruction Photos
The photo diary of the construction site: filed in the project context, time-stamped, people pixelated by AI.
Go to product pageConstruction Diary
The daily report that almost writes itself — weather, companies and work performed flow in automatically.
Go to product pageConstruction Checklists
Quality becomes verifiable — point by point, with a report at the push of a button.
Go to product pageConstruction Time
Schedules under control, deadlines in check — before it gets expensive.
Go to product pageThe construction site that documents itself
Our hardware captures what nobody else photographs — and the footage lands automatically in the right project.
DIGIBAU 360
One walk-through, everything documented — the 360° helmet camera developed in-house.
Go to product pageConstruction Webcam
Connected to the construction site around the clock: live view and time-lapse archive.
Go to product pageConstruction Drone
The perspective you don't get from the ground — aerial images, 3D models, quantity takeoff.
Go to product pageConstruction Weather
The weather documents itself — straight into the site diary, reliable evidence in case of delays.
Go to product pageConstruction Dog
Documentation on four legs: autonomous site-walk rounds with 360° capture.
Go to product pageWhy software and hardware from a single source?
The difference is not in the devices, but in the connection: every capture lands automatically in the right project, at the right location, with the right timestamp — right next to your defects, reports and checklists.
From onlineBauabnahme to the platform for the construction phase
Open Experience was founded in Karlsruhe in 2009; in 2013, onlineBauabnahme marked the "entry into the mobile world" — recording defects directly on site. Today's platform grew out of it: same mission, ten tools.
- onlineBauabnahmeis now called Construction Defects — still listed in the App Store under the old name.
- BauFotois now called Construction Photos.
- QM-Checklisteis now called Construction Checklists.
- onlineBautagesberichtis now called Construction Diary.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use modules individually?
Yes — every product works on its own; the full value comes from the interplay: one project, one data base, no double entry.
What do I need to get started?
A package and a few minutes for the first project; the hardware comes in when you need it. The packages are on the pricing page.
How do the products work together?
All data — defects, photos, reports, 360° captures, weather — lives in the same project, geolocated and time-stamped. A defect knows its photo, a daily report knows its weather.
Are the products also available as apps?
Yes — Construction Defects, Construction Photos, Construction Checklists and Construction Diary are available for iOS and Android, each with offline mode. All links are on the support page.
