Helmet camera, weather station, sensors for the robot dog: our hardware is built in-house. As a working student, you help shape the next modules.
What is this role about?
Open Experience builds the hardware for its own software itself: the DIGIBAU 360 360° helmet camera, construction webcams, weather stations, and the sensors for our mobile robots. As a working student in mechatronics development, you create detailed concepts for mechatronic modules and develop them further together with experienced engineers — using modern methods and tools all the way to 3D printing.

What you bring
Not a checklist to tick off: if you confidently bring two of these four points, the conversation is worth having.
- Field of studyMechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related subject.
- A maker's mindsetEnjoy turning ideas into tangible prototypes instead of just drawing them.
- CAD and 3D printingFirst experience with these is a plus, not a requirement.
- LanguageGerman or English — either is enough.
