What does Skalice take care of?
Skalice rents out ready-to-use tablets and smartphones: the device, a rugged case, tempered glass, a stylus, a mount and chargers come as one package, the OX applications are pre-installed, and user profiles, device management and data backup are configured. Selection, setup, administration and replacement are handled by the partner — not by your IT department and not by site management.

What the device package contains
Skalice provides the devices on a rental model: configured, managed, insured and with a replacement service. Four packages are available — smartphone and tablet, each as a Profi and a Premium version.
- Device and accessoriesAn Apple iPad (Wi-Fi and mobile network) or an Apple iPhone, plus a rugged case, tempered glass, a stylus, a mount and chargers.
- Ready configuredThe OX applications are pre-installed, user profiles and device management are set, data backup is running — and the applications are updated regularly.
- Insured and replaceableThe devices are insured against breakage, loss and theft; if one fails, a replacement follows — in the highest tier with priority and including wear parts.
- Mobile data on requestThe tablets support mobile networks; matching tariffs can be ordered with them so that documentation stays online on site.
- Term and renewalThe rental runs monthly, over 24, 36 or 48 months, and renews automatically. Changes are possible at the end of the chosen term.

Ready for the site — from the first day
Digital applications only pay off when the hardware works reliably too. Together with Skalice, we connect digital construction documentation with suitable mobile devices. Skalice works mainly with trade and installation businesses — from roofing through scaffolding to drywall — and therefore with the trades that use our applications every day.
Our own construction hardware still comes from us — tablets and smartphones for the team are set up by Skalice.

Frequently asked questions
Can I get the devices directly from Open Experience?
Our own construction hardware (DIGIBAU 360, Construction Webcam, Construction Weather) comes from us. Tablets and smartphones for your team are set up by our partner Skalice — pre-configured with the OX applications.
Do I have to buy the devices?
No. Skalice provides the devices on a rental model, including accessories, insurance and replacement. The rental runs monthly over 24, 36 or 48 months; the binding terms come from the partner.
What separates the three service tiers?
Basic covers the device alone. Baustelle adds accessories, setup, device management, data backup and insurance. Rundum-Sorglos adds priority device replacement, replacement of wear accessories and support without separate billing.
Can I keep using my existing devices?
Yes. The OX applications run on common tablets and smartphones. Going through Skalice is worthwhile above all when a team needs to be equipped uniformly and quickly.
What happens to my documentation if a device is lost?
The project documentation lives in your OX project environment, not on the device. A replacement device is configured and signs in to your project environment; the data already recorded is unaffected.
Who helps if a device fails on site?
Skalice is the contact for the devices, our support team for the applications. Both sides are coordinated so that you never have to mediate between two helpdesks.
